Processed food is that food altered in any way from its original form or natural state. It can be in several forms- cooked, canned, baked, dried, frozen, packaged for preserving, or prepared in different ways. These foods are generally not healthier than unprocessed refreshments. These refreshments contain artificial colors, flavors, or other chemical additives.
